In the event that you should need to cancel your reservation with us, there is no charge made provided that 24 hours notice is given (does not apply to interent special bookings, which are non refundable). If less than 24 hours notice is given the room tariff for the first night of your stay will be charged. Unlike many York hotels deposits are fully refundable provided sufficient notice was given, except for parties of 6 or more where deposits may be withheld.

In the very unlikely event that we should need to cancel your reservation we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible. The hotel is not liable for any cancellation costs provided that 72 hours notice was given. If you have booked an internet special this will be refunded.
